"Verstopt achter een paar autohandelaren en een parkeerterrein ligt een bescheiden boulevard aan het IJ; met De Goudfazant, Hangar en dus FC Hyena. Met stip de meest belachelijke voetbalvereniging van Amsterdam. Vooral omdat iedereen er eigenlijk altijd het liefst op de bank zit. Of het nu is voor een obscure cultdocumentaire, het zonovergoten terras of voor de uitstekende shared dining kaart. Wij aten hier burrata met groenten, een flinke portie ribs (voor 9 euro!) en een plankje met bier-gerijpte kaas. "Filmliefhebbers en foodies die deze twee hobby’s willen combineren hebben aan bioscoop FC Hyena een perfecte locatie. Wanneer je deze filmclub binnenkomt loop je gelijk het restaurant binnen. Dit restaurant bestaat uit niets meer dan een aantal tafeltjes voor een bar met daarnaast een open keuken en een gigantische oven. De vibe is chill en doet een beetje denken aan restaurant Entrepotdok. De menukaart staat vol gerechten voor een prijzen van €9,- en €15,-, waarvan het opvalt dat ondanks het minimaal aantal gerechten dit een prima goede mix is van groente, vlees en vis. Het aubergine- met hummusgerecht komt met fantastisch brood en is een absolute winnaar. Daarnaast hebben we de bbq ribs die perfect zijn om te delen met een aantal mensen. Na het eten duik je snel één van de twee zalen in. We zeggen hier express snel, want met het vrij zitten beleid heb je als eerste altijd de beste plek in de zaal.
