Tiel occupies a storied address on the Oudedijk in Rotterdam: the building once served as a psychiatric institution in the late nineteenth century. Since December 2025, owner Tom Tieleman has given it an entirely different energy, opening what has quickly become one of the city's most talked-about new restaurants.
