"La Fiorita is een absolute parel in de Jordaan. Niet alleen een kek woordgrapje omdat dit Italiaanse restaurant van buur-pizzeria La Perla is, maar vooral omdat hier elk gerecht net zo verrassend lekker is als dat het eruit ziet. Zó lekker dat JP er zelfs foto's van gaat maken – dat zegt wat. Het Menu Dello Chef (65,-) staat vol topgerechten: van de antipasti met o.a. Crudo di Vitello (kalfsvlees met hazelnoot), Cavoletti di Bruxelles (ja, zelfs de spruitjes met pancetta zijn hier fenomenaal) en de vis van de dag met een fantastische jalapeño-saus. Dan moet de pappardelle met wild zwijn en de stoof van edelhert nog komen. Wat een weelde. We zijn benieuwd hoe vaak we hier onwetend zijn voorbij gefietst. Een schande.
